As the Store Controller, you will bring energy, personality and a great work ethic to this centralised role. You will be responsible for ordering, supply and monitoring of food stock to three of our hotels.
Responsibilities
* Ordering food stock required for menus across the three supported TLH kitchens
* Maintaining accurate stock levels for dry and wet stores
* Managing stock rotation to ensure freshness and minimise waste
* Working confidently within busy kitchen environments and supporting smooth service
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene at all times
* Following Health & Safety and Food Hygiene procedures to ensure safe working practices
* Communicating effectively with chefs and other team members to support kitchen operations
* Contributing to environmentally responsible practices and working comfortably both indoors and outdoors
* Keeping storerooms, corridors, walkways and work areas clean, clear and safe
* Inputting data into computer systems to monitor stock usage and orders
* Continuous checking and monitoring of prices between suppliers to ensure best purchasing price
* Basic excel skills to assist with record keeping and analysis
* Manual Handling, lifting and moving
Requirements
* Torquay TQ2 5HS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience
* Stock Control: 1 year (required)
* Kitchen supervisory role: 2 years (required)

Hours and Pay
This is a full-time permanent role of 40 hours over 5 days, requiring weekday and weekend flexibility.
Hourly rate £13.00 per hour
