We’re a modern, client-focused financial planning firm based in Hertfordshire, passionate about making expert financial advice clear, accessible, and empowering. As we approach our first anniversary, we’re investing in how we communicate our story and support our clients — and we’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented assistant to help us grow our brand and digital presence.
The Opportunity
This is an ideal part-time role for someone looking to build real-world experience in marketing, content creation, and financial services. Whether you’re currently studying, looking to gain experience over the summer, returning to work, or exploring a new career direction, we’d love to hear from you.
You’ll work directly with the company’s founder to create engaging, compliant, and on-brand content — contributing to both day-to-day communications and longer-term marketing efforts.
What You’ll Do
* Draft and schedule multiple weekly social media posts (primarily LinkedIn and Instagram), using blog content or market commentary as a foundation
* Write and upload blog posts: both created from scratch and supplied by our investment partners
* Create clear, professional visual content using Canva or similar AI-based design tools
* Draft and send a monthly email newsletter to our client base (content and guidance provided)
* Coordinate compliance approval for all marketing materials (full training provided)
* Attend a monthly 1:1 check-in with the founder to review progress and plan ahead
* Support occasional ad-hoc projects, including client events, branded resources, and email campaigns
What We’re Looking For
* Excellent written communication skills and keen attention to detail
* A genuine interest in personal finance, marketing, or communications
* Some familiarity with digital tools like Canva, LinkedIn, or email platforms (or a willingness to learn)
* Self-motivated, reliable, and organised — able to work independently from home
* Comfortable asking questions and open to learning, especially around compliance and brand standards
* Legally eligible to work in the UK
What We Offer
* £12.21 per hour (National Living Wage) — paid monthly.
