Starting salary £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.41 after successful completion of probation, increasing to £12.60 after a further 12 months in post.
Our Victoria Park Grove service assists clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We require enthusiastic, caring individuals to take our clients out for bowling, shopping and to the community centre.
Shifts include days, nights and sleep overs. If you love bus rides, walks and pub meals this rewarding job could be for you.
Main Duties of the Job
* Prepare person‑centred support plans with clients that reflect their views, aspirations and beliefs, reviewing and amending them as necessary.
* Support clients to fulfil their aspirations, promote independence, accompany them on social visits, support interests and hobbies, and develop skills and knowledge.
* Communicate openly and transparently with clients and team members, acting with integrity.
* Provide personal care respecting clients’ choices and dignity, including washing and toileting when required.
* Keep accurate daily records with full client involvement.

Detailed Job Description
* Provide high‑quality care and enable clients to live their best life.
* Ensure all support is delivered safely, protecting clients from abuse and maintaining dignity.
* Cooperate with on‑site inspectors and support quality inspections.
* Adhere to Health and Safety requirements covering manual handling, food hygiene, fire safety, infection control and risk assessment.
* Carry out household duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and other domestic tasks.
* Deliver personal care as per the care plan.
* Maintain accurate written and numerical records.
* Perform a wide range of personal and domestic duties suitable to the service.
* Meet physical requirements of the role, including stairs, hoists, wheelchairs, residential sites and night work. Adjustments considered where necessary.
* Use computer packages (Word, Outlook, Internet) and pursue relevant care qualifications.
* Work cooperatively as a team member.
* Liaise and communicate effectively with carers, families, inspectors and external stakeholders.

* Previous experience working in care (employment or at home).

* Care Certificate or willingness to obtain it.
* Current UK driving licence.
