Contract Type: Fixed Term Temporary Contract (12 Months) Hours: 25 hours About The Rosses The Rosses is a non-24-hour supported housing service based in Londonderry. We support adults living with enduring mental health challengesranging from depression and anxiety to personality disordersto maintain their tenancies and live as independently as possible. We also provide general housing support to tenants from local housing waiting lists. Our team doesn't deliver personal care or medication supportinstead, we empower people with the life skills and practical help they need to thrive, whether that's managing appointments, developing routines, connecting with others or navigating the world of housing and benefits. Every flat here is self-contained, allowing our residents to feel truly at home. We work in partnership with Choice Housing and multiple local professionals (e.g. Community Mental Health Teams, Allied Health Professionals) to provide wrap-around, tailored support. What You'll Be Doing As a Senior Project Worker, you will be responsible for: To assist the Manager and Deputy Manager in the effective and efficient management of mental health & addiction services by implementing all statutory and regulatory requirements, Assisting the Manager in managing the budget and resources efficiently Supporting the Manager, Deputy Manager and staff team to achieve the organisational strategy. Managing appointments, health concerns, and financial needs Assisting the Manager and Deputy Manager to promote and implement Recovery by using a strengths based person centred approach Liaising with health professionals, families and community services Supporting day-to-day running of the service including H&S checks, note recording (on iPlanit), and Choice Housing coordination What Makes This Job Special? You'll get to: Build meaningful relationships with tenants Make a real difference through everyday conversations and encouragement Work in a positive, welcoming environment where staff are supported and appreciated Grow your skills through ongoing training and personal development Support the Manager and Deputy Manager to organise the provision of support for service users including; staff rotas and the allocation of duties and key worker responsibilities. Support junior staff, liaise with colleagues and managers / other professional personnel to report and record progress or difficulties and in particular any issues of concern, unusual behaviour or deterioration in health and ensure compliance with Incident Reporting procedures as required. In the absence of a Manager and Deputy Manager, deputise for the service by ensuring that the general duties, necessary reports and documentation are completed within the timeframes as required. Attend managers meetings in the absence of the Manager and/or Deputy Manager and ensure relevant information is shared with the team following the meeting.
