An established and growing construction business is seeking a Contract Administration to join the pre-construction team. The purpose of the role is to complete all associated admin in the pre-construction team to include estimating on works, reviewing drawings and coordinating technical information before projects move into delivery. The successful candidate will be fully trained with all aspects to ensure tenders are commercially sound, technically considered, and ready for a smooth transition to the delivery team. Key Responsibilities * Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates from drawings and specifications * Completing detailed pricing breakdowns * Obtaining, reviewing, and negotiating supplier quotations * Assessing labour and installation requirements * Reviewing construction drawings to identify design gaps or technical issues prior to pricing * Producing or amending basic SketchUp drawings where required * Managing queries with clients, consultants, and suppliers * Developing product and system knowledge to advise on appropriate solutions The right candidate would: * Have strong numerical and analytical ability * Be looking for a role which offers full training and development * Ability to read and interpret technical construction drawings confidently * Detail-oriented and technically minded * Organised and capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously Salary: £25,000 – ...
