Job Description:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work within a school based in Reading. The successful candidate will provide support to pupils who require additional help to access learning and achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, and other support staff to help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
With pay starting at £90 per day, Teaching Personnel are partnered with a number of schools across the Reading area making a difference and providing high quality staff to support childrens growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils
* Assist students with additional learning needs, including SEN
* Support pupils with classroom activities and learning tasks
* Encourage confidence, engagement, and positive behaviour
* Monitor and report pupil progress to teaching staff
Requirements:
* Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role is desirable
* SEN experience is desirable and may be required, depending on placement
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
