Senior Property & Casualty New Business UnderwriterReporting into Leeds | Covering Yorkshire & North East | Flexible/Remote Options Available in North East Are you an experienced Property & Casualty Underwriter ready to take the next step in your career? Or perhaps you're a seasoned New Business Underwriter looking to grow into a Business Development Manager role? This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking underwriting team with a strong footprint across the SME and mid-market space. As a Senior Underwriter, youll be responsible for driving new business growth across the Yorkshire and North East broking market. Youll work closely with regional brokers to craft solutions for complex UK risks and some fascinating international exposures. This is a role that blends technical underwriting expertise with commercial acumen and relationship-building. Key responsibilities include:
* Underwriting and pricing SME and mid-market Property & Casualty risks.
* Developing broker relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
* Solving complex risk challenges with tailored solutions.
* Collaborating with internal teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
