As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success and contractual integrity of construction project. This role will involve a wide range of tasks that are essential for the smooth operation and profitability of construction activities.
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing, managing, and overseeing project budgets

Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project to ensure they stay within budget

Preparing financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses

Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers

Identifying potential risks in contracts and developing strategies to mitigate them
*
Sourcing, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
*
Overseeing the tendering process, evaluating bids, and selecting the most suitable contractors

Assisting in the planning and scheduling of project activities
*
Tracking project progress and ensuring it aligns with the planned schedule and budget
*
Managing and negotiating any changes to the project scope, schedule, or budget

Acting as a point of contact for clients regarding commercial matters
