About the role
Are you passionate about elevating Perceived Quality, Fit & Finish, and vehicle craftsmanship? We're recruiting a Crafted Quality Leader to drive quality excellence across multiple vehicle zones, working closely with cross‑functional design and engineering teams.
As a Crafted Quality Leader, you will take ownership of the Crafted Quality process, ensuring alignment with attribute targets and programme requirements. You'll collaborate with Design, Engineering, Surfacing, Dimensional, DVA/DSI and manufacturing engineering teams to identify issues, resolve risks and deliver world‑class vehicle quality.
Responsibilities
* Leading the Crafted Quality process across selected vehicle areas.
* Coordinating cross‑functional quality reviews and workshops.
* Reviewing CAD, geometry, gaps and flushness, locator strategies and GD&T studies.
* Benchmarking competitor vehicles to identify best‑in‑class solutions.
* Supporting Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) and GD&T / tolerance activities.
* Driving issue resolution and escalating risks where necessary.
* Ensuring alignment with Perceived Quality and attribute delivery requirements.
Background & Skills
You will have a strong background in one or more of: Perceived Quality, Crafted Quality, Fit & Finish, Dimensional Engineering, GD&T, DVA/DSI, CAD visualisation, or Body/Chassis Engineering.
You thrive in a cross‑functional environment and can influence stakeholders across design, engineering and attribute teams.
Key skills & experience
* Strong understanding of geometry, tolerances, gaps, flushness, and assembly quality.
* Experience leading structured problem‑solving or quality processes.
* Ability to present data, lead quality discussions and manage priorities.
* Confident reviewing CAD surfaces and part geometry.
* Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
