Assistant Director - M&A Analytics - EY-Parthenon
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join EY-Parthenon's M&A Analytics team in the UK. The role focuses on data‑driven due diligence to support transaction decisions.
The Opportunity
EY-Parthenon combines strategy, transactions, tax and corporate finance with advanced analytics and AI. The Analytics team disrupts traditional financial due diligence through data analytics and advanced technology tools. You will work across multiple sectors and regions, collaborating with cross‑service line teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Conduct financial due diligence projects, using data analytics to assess target financial performance and projections.
* Plan, monitor and deliver high‑quality reports, presentations and client discussions.
* Collaborate with transaction diligence, strategy and commercial teams across EY.
* Identify and communicate opportunities and risks to clients, banks and investors.
* Develop and share technical knowledge and insights within the Analytics team.
* Build internal and external networks, supporting business development and client relationships.
Role Requirements
* Strong commercial and financial acumen; experience in M&A, financial due diligence or analytics.
* Proficiency in data manipulation and analytics tools (Alteryx, SQL, Excel).
* Ability to analyze complex data quickly, focusing key insights for clients.
* Experience managing and mentoring analytical teams.
* Effective communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
* Self‑motivation, team player, and strong time management under pressure.
Qualifications
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (ideal).
* Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, or advanced analytics languages.
* Evidence of leading high‑paced transaction environments and analytics delivery.
* Strong stakeholder and client communication skills.
