The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences across the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. You will assist with activities, continuous provision, and targeted interventions, helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. You will also observe and assess children’s progress, contributing to planning and supporting individual learning goals.
You will support pupils’ social and emotional development, helping them build independence, confidence, and positive behaviour. Collaboration with colleagues, parents, and carers is key to providing consistent and effective support for all children.

* Support teaching and learning across the EYFS curriculum
* Assist with delivering activities, continuous provision, and targeted interventions

* Work collaboratively with the EYFS team and wider school staff
* Support children during transitions, routines, and outdoor learning
* Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
* Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and school initiatives
* Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
