Community Neuro Rehab Team Brighton and Hove Physiotherapist – Band 6, fixed term contract 34.5 hours per week ending April 2027.
Do you want to develop your skills as a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist? We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist with an interest and the experience to join our Community Neuro Rehab Team, based in Brighton and Hove. You will be part of a large, friendly, dynamic multidisciplinary team, delivering neuro rehabilitation to patients in a community setting. You will have supervision from the Band 7 clinical specialist Physiotherapist and work in the team with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Stroke Nurses, Psychologists and Rehab support workers.
The role is for a B6 physiotherapist post of 34.5 hours a week. Fixed term contract ending April 2027.
Main duties
* Delivery of an effective Physiotherapist Service to community based neurological patients. Treating all patients with respect and courtesy, maintaining dignity, and respecting individual needs and differences, both physical and cultural.
* To practice as a physiotherapist in the community, liaising with the Multidisciplinary team and delegating work to rehab support workers or other team members as appropriate.
* To assist the multidisciplinary team in preparing intervention plans, implementing rehabilitation, and evaluating outcomes.
* To work jointly with other professionals to ensure a needs based, patient-centred approach.
