- Monday Friday: 09:00 17:30
- 1 in 4 Saturdays: 09:00 12:00
- Hourly rate up to £28 per hour
About the Role Are you a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in community healthcare? An established and community-focused pharmacy group is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join a busy branch located in Nottinghamshire. This pharmacy is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the wellbeing of the local community. You will be working alongside a strong and experienced team in a fast-paced, supportive environment where patient care is the top priority. The pharmacy dispenses approximately 12,000-13,000 items per month and is located in a busy community setting. The branch benefits from automated dispensing technology, helping streamline workflow and allowing pharmacists to focus more on clinical services and patient care. Team & Environment The branch is supported by a knowledgeable team including:
- Non-pharmacist Manager
- 5 Dispensers
- Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT)
This well-established team provides excellent support, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in line with legal and professional standards
- Provide medication counselling and patient support
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care
- Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe medicines management
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy stock
- Deliver vaccination services where applicable
- Provide advice on OTC medicines and healthcare products
- Support health promotion and public health initiatives within the community
Requirements
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Previous experience in community pharmacy
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy services and pharmaceutical products
- A flexible and proactive approach to problem solving
