We are looking for a Part-time Early Years Teaching Assistant. Are you a flexible, passionate individual with experience working in Early Years or Special Educational Needs (SEND)? Do you have a qualification in childcare, early years, or SEND? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
The role: In this part-time position, you will support young children requiring additional assistance in a mainstream primary school. Your responsibilities include supporting small groups and providing 1-1 support, including emotional regulation and sensory circuit sessions. This role is diverse and rewarding, offering meaningful contributions to children's development and early learning.
The ideal person: We seek an enthusiastic, reliable individual passionate about working with children and helping them reach their potential. Candidates should hold relevant qualifications in teaching assistance, childcare, or early years, with experience working with SEND students being highly desirable. A good understanding of emotional and sensory regulation in early childhood is essential.
The school: Located in Carlisle, this welcoming mainstream primary school offers a supportive and inclusive environment, carefully meeting each child's individual needs. The school is dedicated to ensuring all students thrive and have the best start in their educational journey.
Hours: This is a flexible, part-time role with school hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with working days arranged to suit your schedule.

For temporary roles with Sense Education, pay is on a weekly basis, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a long-term temporary position, with potential for permanence.
