Join Our Team at Athena Worksurfaces – Fitter Wanted
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Worksurface Installer to join our installations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting a range of high-quality kitchen and work surfaces (including quartz, granite, porcelain ) in customers' homes and on construction sites. You will ensure all installations meet company quality standards, health, and safety requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Install a variety of worksurfaces to the highest standard, ensuring precise fitting, finishing, and alignment.
* Carry out site assessments and checks before installation to confirm readiness and highlight potential issues.
* Safely handle, transport, and fit heavy materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
* Carry out adjustments, cut-outs, and finishing work (such as sink and tap fittings).
* Ensure installations are completed within agreed timescales and meet company quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment on site, leaving all areas tidy after completion.
* Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, and office teams to resolve queries or issues.
* Report back on completed works, remedials, and site conditions, using company reporting systems.
* Adhere to all health & safety regulations, including correct use of PPE and manual handling practices.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in fitting kitchen work surfaces (quartz, granite, and porcelain worksurfaces.
* Strong practical skills with hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/templates.
* Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
* CSCS card (essential).
