School Youth Worker / Learning Support Assistant (Full Time, Temporary/Permanent) Birmingham, Kitts Green Academy, B33 9QY £92.56 - £105 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications ) Start: ASAP The School and Role This small, specialist provision in Birmingham is looking to appoint a resilient School Youth Worker / Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. With small class sizes and a high staff-to-pupil ratio, the school offers a highly supportive environment focused on re-engaging learners. The role involves behaviour support, mentoring and classroom assistance. This full-time position is long term with potential to become permanent. Requirements The desired School Youth Worker / Learning Support Assistant will have; Experience working with young people Background in youth work, care or education Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills Ability to build positive relationships A patient, consistent and resilient approach What we offer As a Teaching Assistant, part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
