As the Group continues to grow through acquisition and organic expansion, our finance function is central to enabling that growth — and this newly created role sits right at the centre of it.
As Integration Finance Accountant, you will lead the financial onboarding of newly acquired entities, redesign our Group consolidation model, and drive our transition to the updated FRS 102 accounting standards. Working closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller, you will bring technical expertise to a commercially engaged and collaborative finance team. No two months will look the same — this is a role with real breadth and genuine significance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the financial integration of newly acquired entities, including chart of accounts alignment and opening balance sheet reviews
* Manage purchase price allocation exercises and assess the accounting treatment of goodwill, intangibles, and fair value adjustments in line with FRS 102
* Identify and resolve accounting policy differences between acquired entities and Group policies, producing clear technical papers where required
* Review and redesign the Group consolidation model to improve scalability, accuracy, and auditability, including robust intercompany elimination schedules
* Support the SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation (October 2026 go-live), ensuring the system supports Group consolidation and multi-entity reporting requirements
* Lead the Group’s adoption of the updated FRS 102 standards (effective from January 2026), including new lease accounting requirements and updated revenue recognition models
* Communicate complex accounting matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders across the business, building confidence and shared understanding
About You
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a solid track record in technical accounting and Group consolidations. You’re comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and delivering to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Crucially, you bring both technical depth and the ability to translate that expertise into clear, practical guidance for colleagues across the business.
* Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong knowledge of FRS 102, including the upcoming 2026 triennial review changes.
* Demonstrable experience preparing or auditing Group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations, goodwill accounting, and foreign currency translation.
* Experience in a finance integration, transaction services, or technical accounting role — ideally within an SME or mid-market Group environment.
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with multi-entity financial data across different source systems.
* Background in practice (audit or advisory) with clients in technology, telecoms, or managed services.
* Familiarity with deferred revenue, lease accounting, or significant financing component accounting under FRS 102 or IFRS.
