Simply Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading specialist in civils and highway maintenance who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis, based from their office in Leyland.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading infrastructure and construction projects from inception through to completion. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across highway and civil engineering schemes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage infrastructure and highway projects from planning to handover
* Oversee on-site operations and coordinate subcontractors
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
* Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations and health & safety standards
* Identify and mitigate project risks
* Act as the primary liaison between clients, engineers, and internal teams
* Maintain high-quality delivery across highway, civils, and drainage works
Requirements
* Proven experience managing highway and infrastructure projects
* Strong knowledge of highway schemes, civil engineering works, and drainage systems
* Solid understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety compliance
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
