Danny Sullivan Group are currently looking for a Construction Manager for a role on a large scale waste to energy build project in North London. Ideal candidate will have trade background working on large scale power plant/heavy industrial projects with large scale mechanical installations. Role is a long term position and comes with excellent day rate and the client will cover lodge as well. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day construction site operations and subcontractor performance Oversee installation and integration of major plant components, including boilers, turbines, piping, and supporting infrastructure Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Collaborate closely with engineering, commissioning, and project management teams Monitor schedule progress, cost control, and resource planning Resolve technical challenges and drive site productivity Lead by example with a hands-on, proactive management styleExperience/qualifications: Proven background managing construction on large-scale power, energy, or WtE projects Strong working knowledge of boilers, pressure systems, or thermal plants Trade or technical background (mechanical, electrical, or process engineering preferred) Track record of delivering projects in a live construction environment SMSTS or equivalent site management certification Excellent leadership and communication skills Excellent opportunity for someone to further their career on this large scale project that is only getting off the ground.
