We are looking for a strategic, energetic and detail-obsessed Café Supervisor to lead one of our most prestigious and high-profile client sites in Central London. This is not just a job for someone who can "manage", it's for someone who can elevate. You will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day in-house catering operations run smoothly, while also making sure that we are compliant with food safety procedures and giving excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
Being a responsible key holder
Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are always proactive
Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
Complying with Health & Safety regulations
Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
Team player and can-do attitude
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
Act as the primary point of contact on-site, building a strong, trusted relationship with the client
Manage all aspects of daily catering and hospitality services, ensuring seamless delivery across all touchpoints (coffee bar, breakfast/lunch service, and meeting rooms).
Consistently anticipate client needs and proactively provide innovative ideas to enhance the guest and employee experience.
Regularly gather, report on and act on client feedback to continuously improve service delivery.
