Finance Business Partner
Location: St Neots, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £60,000–£80,000 + benefits
Working Pattern: Full-time, office based
A well-established and profitable international business operating within the distribution sector looking to appoint a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support continued growth and operational development.
This is a newly created role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership across finance, operations and commercial teams during a period of ongoing transformation and investment.
The business operates in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and is seeking a qualified accountant who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, improving processes, and turning financial insight into practical commercial action.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will support operational and commercial decision-making across multiple business areas. The role combines business partnering, commercial analysis, project support and management reporting responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business
* Supporting pricing reviews, margin analysis and profitability improvement initiatives
* Providing insight into inventory, working capital and operational performance
* Supporting business projects including systems implementations and process improvements
* Delivering meaningful financial analysis and management information
* Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking
* Supporting commercial decision-making through data-led analysis
* Working closely with branch and business unit leadership teams
* Contributing to wider strategic and operational initiatives
About You
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong commercial awareness and the confidence to work closely with non-finance stakeholders.
