Van Driver – Glasgow Depot – £14.02 per hour
You'll begin your shift between 3:00 am and 5:00 am and finish once all deliveries are completed and you return to the depot. You will work five out of six days from Monday to Saturday, including bank holidays.
Responsibilities
* Provide first‑class customer service, interacting with customers respectfully and professionally.
* Pack crates and goods into the delivery vehicle in an organised manner, matching the routed manifest.
* Deliver each order according to the delivery instructions. If delivery cannot adhere to the instructions, raise the issue immediately with the depot team.
* Verify that the delivered order matches the invoice; report any discrepancies to the depot team.
* Adhere to UK driving laws at all times.
* Complete all paperwork accurately and within the required timeframes.
* Complete a full debrief with depot management on your return to the depot.
* Keep the vehicle clean and tidy in line with the cleaning schedule.
Requirements
* Good understanding of GB domestic drivers’ hours rule and UK driving laws.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to stand for at least 8.5 hours per day (manual role).
* Reliability and conscientiousness, as you will work independently.
* Strong problem‑solving skills to minimise customer disruption.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an enthusiastic, can‑do attitude.
