As they continue to support high-impact, data-driven programmes within Defence and Government, we are looking for a talented Developer to join their agile software team. The Opportunity This is a chance to join a cutting-edge team working on a mission-critical project within the Defence sector. You'll be part of a high-performing group delivering an Android-based solution that supports complex, sensitive operations, with real-world impact on national security and public safety. Operating on a hybrid model (1 week onsite in Hereford, 1 week remote), you'll engage in fast-paced sprint cycles, collaborate closely with stakeholders, and contribute to systems that leverage the power of AI, machine learning, and secure data handling. The Role As a Developer, you will: Actively participate in sprint planning and estimation Develop new features and functionality for Android platforms using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose Review peer code and contribute to robust development standards Design modular, testable, and scalable solutions Liaise with Product Owners to clarify requirements and demo completed work Work in a collaborative, Agile environment using tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence The Person You will be an inquisitive and independent thinker with a proactive approach to problem solving.
