The Role:
M Squared (Scotland) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our ground’s maintenance operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of landscapers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, managing resources effectively, and maintaining strong client relationships. This is a key leadership role that requires a blend of hands-on experience, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Leadership: Plan, schedule, and oversee all grounds maintenance activities across various sites, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and compliant service delivery. This includes managing routine tasks like grass cutting, planting, and hardstanding maintenance, alongside seasonal and winter operations.
* Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of landscaping operatives, fostering a productive and safe work environment while ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
* Safety & Compliance: Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance, conducting risk assessments and maintaining strict adherence to all relevant legislation (e.g., COSHH).
* Client Relations: Serve as the primary contact for clients, building strong relationships, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction through clear communication and proactive problem-solving.
* Resource & Budget Management: Effectively manage budgets, control expenditure, and optimise the use of all resources, including plant, machinery, equipment, and materials.
* Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records and provide regular, comprehensive reports on operational performance, budget status, and client feedback.
Required Skills & Experience
* Organisational & Communication Skills: Strong ability to organise, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with both teams and clients.
* IT Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Licence: Full UK driving licence is essential.

Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
