GBR Recruitment is working exclusively with a Lincolnshire food business to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant (time-served or AAT qualified) to perform various accounting and finance duties. The role is part-time, 25 hours per week, ideally 5 hours daily, with flexible start and finish times, including options like school hours.

Key skills required include Xero experience. Knowledge of E-commerce businesses is also advantageous.
* Processing sales & purchase orders, invoices, payments, and receipts using Xero
* Checking supplier statements and investigating variances
* Debt recovery
* Managing stock reports and inventory
* VAT returns
* Bank reconciliations
* Using bespoke software
* Preparing reports and financial summaries
Experience required:
* Strong knowledge of accounting and financial administration
* Experience with Xero (essential)
* E-commerce experience (preferred)
* Excellent communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Proactive, solution-focused, with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities
* Good organizational skills
