Passive Fire Protection Supervisor (Intumescent & Firestopping)

1st Specialist Services is looking for an experienced Fire Protection Site Supervisor to lead and coordinate passive fire protection works across mainland UK. This role is ideal for a confident supervisor with a strong technical background and the ability to manage teams, quality, and compliance on busy construction sites.
About the Role
You will oversee the delivery of passive fire protection installations, ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with project specifications. Responsibilities include supervising teams carrying out:
* Intumescent coating application
* Firestopping systems and penetration seals
* Cavity barrier installation
* Structural fire‑resistant boarding
You will act as the key point of contact on site, supporting operatives, liaising with site management, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and documentation. Work is national, operating from our Midlands‑based facility.
Requirements
* Strong background in site supervision and coordinating multiple work fronts
* Valid CSCS card
* Current SSSTS qualification
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Must be a UK resident
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Ability to interpret drawings, follow specifications, and ensure compliance with tested systems
* Extensive experience in passive fire protection, including intumescent, firestopping, cavity barriers, and boarding
