Role: Account Manager
Responsibilities
1. Articulate customer challenges and create joint plans with the Business Unit (BU) to propose suitable solutions, driving a blend of Product and Services aligned with the company's vision.
2. Identify, develop, and campaign sales opportunities within existing customers, ensuring alignment with the client's strategic objectives.
3. Lead and coordinate virtual internal and external teams on all sales opportunities.
4. Maintain and expand engagement with vendors and partners within the account base to drive sales growth and margin improvement.
5. Develop and execute account plans in SalesHub, including regular campaign and opportunity planning to maximize sales effectiveness. Manage activities of virtual teams to meet targets for services and product sales.
6. Collaborate effectively with solution experts to define the right propositions for client requirements.
7. Maintain accurate and timely forecasts in SalesHub, and develop marketing plans to enhance in-year margins.
8. Manage and nurture long-term relationships at all organizational levels within the customer accounts, including engaging senior SCC executives.
9. Identify opportunities and risks—operational, commercial, and legal—considering financial imperatives such as maximizing margin contributions through Payment Solutions.
10. Demonstrate proven success in technology infrastructure and services sales, especially with enterprise projects in FTSE 500 and Public Sector organizations.
11. Possess extensive knowledge of technology and services aligned with business outcomes, capable of effective communication at all client levels, including CxO.
12. Proven experience in selling IT Consulting, Professional, and Managed Services, or enterprise solutions.
13. High business and commercial awareness with successful negotiation experience at senior levels.
14. Track record of sustainable growth within previous client engagements.

* Salary: £50,000-65,000 per year
* Location: Birmingham (hybrid working)
* Contract: Permanent, Full-time
* Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday
* Benefits: Flexible benefits scheme, 2 paid volunteering days annually
