OUR HOTEL
Opening soon, Courtyard by Marriott Sheffield is a brand-new 150-bedroom hotel perfectly located between Sheffield and Rotherham. Set within a growing business park and the new Waverley residential development, and just 10 minutes from Meadowhall, the hotel is ideally placed to attract both corporate and leisure guests.
The hotel features stylish rooms across five floors, a fully equipped residents’ gym, one meeting room, and an on-site car park. Our all-day Bistro & Bar is expected to become a key dining spot in the area.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHEF DE PARTIE AT OUR HOTEL
What you'll be doing...
1. Take charge of service, cooking up incredible dishes that wow with flavour and flair.
2. Bring your creativity to every plate, ensuring the highest standards of presentation and taste.
3. Keep the kitchen flowing smoothly by prepping and organising like a pro, so every service is seamless.
4. Work closely with the kitchen team, communicating with precision to deliver dishes on time.
5. Maintain a pristine workspace, from your station to the tools you use – cleanliness is key.
6. Help monitor stock levels, so we’re always ready to serve up favourites without a hitch.
7. Contribute to menu planning and development, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
8. Work different service periods - Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, and Sunday Lunch.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
9. A passion for culinary excellence and a drive to create memorable dining experiences.
10. Proven experience in a busy kitchen, ideally in a Chef de Partie role or similar.
11. Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle high-paced service with ease.
12. Creativity and a keen eye for detail when it comes to plating and presentation.
13. Team spirit, supporting the brigade to keep standards high and service smooth.
14. Dedication to cleanliness, food safety, and upholding health regulations.
