Barclays is currently seeking an accomplished Senior Group Data Management Standards Analyst to support the Data Lineage Standard team. You will develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the Bank's global operations.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Self-discipline.
* Experience reviewing and managing substantiation programs, maintaining audit trails, and performing administrative functions. A strong understanding of evidence standards is essential to identify gaps and ensure compliance through appropriate documentation.
* Ability to interact with different data sets, query, and analyze data.
The key skills for success include risk and controls, change management, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technological skills, alongside job-specific technical expertise.
This role is based in Glasgow.
Purpose of the role
To develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations.
Accountabilities
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Monitor data quality, records metrics, and compliance with standards across the organization.
* Identify and address data and records management risks and gaps.
* Develop and implement a records management program ensuring proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval, and disposal of records.
* Develop and execute a data governance strategy aligned with the bank's overall data management and business objectives.
* Provide group-wide guidance and training on data and records management standards.
Assistant Vice President Expectations
* Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and ensure operational effectiveness. Collaborate with other functions and divisions.
* Lead a team performing complex tasks, setting objectives, coaching, and evaluating performance.
