Communications Executive (Hull - HU13) *Salary to be discussed at application stage* We’re looking for a Communications Executive to join our Group Marketing team at Cranswick’s Head Office in Hull. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll help shape how we communicate across the business and beyond — from managing social media and creating content, to supporting internal campaigns, events, and partnerships. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working on projects that connect people, celebrate success, and support Cranswick’s reputation in the food industry and local community. What You'll Do As part of our Group Marketing team, you’ll help shape how we communicate with colleagues, customers, and communities. Expect variety, autonomy, and plenty of opportunity to get creative. You will: Take the lead on social media channels, managing content with agency support to ensure engaging and strategic storytelling Help keep our website and intranet current by writing and uploading engaging content through our CMS Plan and deliver internal communications campaigns, ensuring key messages land with clarity and impact Support events, sponsorships and partnerships, from local initiatives to wider group activities Create and coordinate collateral, including presentations, branded merchandise, and event materials Maintain and grow our digital asset library, ensuring it’s current, organised and accessible Provide occasional finance & admin support to the team What You'll Bring You’re a confident communicator with an eye for detail and a drive to deliver high-quality content. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and know how to juggle multiple priorities with ease. The ideal candidate will have; Experience in a marketing, comms or agency environment Strong writing and editing skills across digital and print formats Confidence using social media and scheduling tools A flair for content creation – visual, written and even video Familiarity with design platforms like Canva (or similar) Great organisational skills and a proactive, people-first mindset A passion for food, community and culture Proficiency in Microsoft Office (bonus if you’ve got creative software skills too) Why Cranswick?
