A respected and rapidly growing acoustic consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its established Norwich team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced acoustician looking to take ownership of high-profile projects, guide junior staff, and contribute strategically to the company's continued expansion across the East of England.
In this senior-level role, you will lead building and environmental acoustics projects from concept through to delivery, acting as a trusted technical authority for clients and stakeholders. You will work across a diverse portfolio including residential, commercial, education, and infrastructure developments, delivering high-quality consultancy services and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver environmental noise and building acoustics projects
* Produce high-quality technical reports, noise assessments, and modelling outputs
* Act as a key client contact, managing relationships and supporting business development
* Mentor and support junior acousticians within the team
* Provide expert acoustic advice to planners, architects, developers, and design teams
* Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including BS4142, BS8233, and ProPG
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience within an acoustic consultancy
* Strong technical expertise in building acoustics and/or environmental noise
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using acoustic modelling software such as SoundPLAN, CadnaA, or Odeon
* Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Full UK driving licence
