The Role of an SEN Teaching Assistant in Cwmbran As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support primary-aged pupils within a specialist ALN provision based within a mainstream school. You will help learners overcome barriers to education, develop social and communication skills, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
