Teaching Assistants, Level 2, with possible lunchtime supervision
Shottery St Andrew's CE Primary School is a smaller than average primary school with 96 pupils on roll, situated on the edge of the historic and cultural town of Stratford-upon-Avon and benefiting from many strong community links. The school is located in the process of planning a relocation to a new site built as a two-form entry school with a nursery and SEN unit attached.

Role and responsibilities
We are looking to recruit two Teaching Assistant Level 2 posts. The first post is for 27.5 hours per week and may include an additional role of Midday Supervisor 2.5 hours per week. This will provisionally be on a 1:1 basis with general classroom duties included. This is on a fixed term basis until July 2026 with a possibility of extending the contract. There is also a possibility of an additional part time position.
Person specification
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
* Experience of working with children or in a school setting
* Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
* Are passionate about working with children
* Are team players
* Have a good understanding of how children learn
