We’re seeking a dedicated Payroll & Pensions Officer to join our Payroll & Pensions Team, ensuring the seamless delivery of payroll and pensions services.
About The Role
As a Payroll and Pensions Officer, you will play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely payroll and pensions administration. You’ll be responsible for calculating, recording, and processing complex business transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and Council policies. You will analyse and assess data, resolve queries, and provide expert advice to colleagues and customers on payroll and pensions matters.
About The Candidate
You should have excellent literacy and numeracy skills and be a strong communicator, with a customer‑focused approach. The ability to analyse information, make decisions, and resolve issues independently is essential. The successful candidate will have strong administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and proficiency in data input and analysis on IT systems.
