Our client is a PE-backed fintech business seeking an innovative and strategic commercial leader to drive product development and strategy across multiple business units. In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team to analyse and assess the current product portfolio, define product strategy, and shape the roadmap for future growth.

Drawing on your expertise in defining product requirements, gathering customer insights, and conducting competitor analysis, you will lead feature development and ensure product excellence. Collaboration will be key, as you partner with cross-functional teams and work closely with the CEO to align product goals with overall business objectives, solve complex challenges, and lead the business from concept to successful product launch.

As Head of Product Development / Financial Services Director, you will use commercial acumen and data-driven insights to offer a fresh perspective, leveraging your deep expertise in digital and financial services. This is a six-month interim assignment, based in the City of London, requiring three days per week in the office. The role reports directly to the Global CEO and involves close collaboration across all functional teams.
Candidates should hold strong academic credentials, ideally an MBA, and possess a proven track record in financial services, particularly within fintech. A hands-on approach and a passion for innovation are essential.
Day rate: £1200 – £1500 - likely outside IR35.
