1. Basic Salary up to £27,000 DOE - £35,400 OTE
2. Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00
3. Saturdays (1 in 3) - 08:30 - 13:00

Our Client a Main Vehicle Dealership with sites across the South East are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician for their busy workshop in the Hastings area.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician with our client
10. To carry out repairs and servicing to vehicles, as instructed, to the highest possible standard.
11. To correctly interpret instructions from the job card/repair order, to follow all documented Quality Procedures and to comply with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances from manufacturers' manuals, bulletins, check sheets.
12. To obtain any necessary technical information by following documented procedures. To request and attend training and to keep abreast of the latest technical information which is circulated or displayed.
13. Plan, carry out, check and test all work done to the highest possible standard of workmanship and in the most efficient manner, in order to ensure the maximum utilisation of time available. To report any repair difficulties immediately.
14. Accurately report and record work done, and tests carried out and to immediately report any further work required or vehicle faults, as laid down in documented procedures.
15. Protect and take care of Customers' and the Company's property. To drive and road test vehicles by following documented procedures and taking the utmost care.
16. Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition and to remove all scrap, etc. immediately upon the completion of each repair.
17. Ensure that all guidelines on health and safety are followed.
18. To maintain good working relationships with other staff and Customers.
19. Carry out any further duties, within capabilities, by agreement with management.

20. Experience with Commercial Vehicles/LCVs
21. Competency in numeracy and literacy.
22. Strong attention to detail
23. Good organisation skills
24. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
25. To be a team player
26. Ideally NVQ Level 3 Qualified or Equivalent
27. MOT Licence
28. Right to Work within UK
