Joining SuperCare's newest Learning Disabilities home in Ninfield means helping build a safe, nurturing environment for children with complex needs. Many of the young people you'll support may be autistic, non-verbal, have ADHD, ASC, epilepsy, Down syndrome or global developmental delay. Nights can be unpredictable and they rely on adults who can stay calm, patient, and reassuring when routines change or anxieties rise.
Your role as a Waking Night Coach (Support Worker) is to keep the home safe, offer stability, and provide comfort and consistency throughout the night.

What You'll Do
As a Waking Night Coach, you'll focus on safety, regulation, and gentle support:
* Respond calmly to children who may wake unsettled, anxious, or dysregulated.
* Support young people who are non-verbal or who use alternative communication.
* Monitor children with epilepsy, medical needs, or sleep-related vulnerabilities.
* Carry out night-time safety checks and follow all safeguarding procedures.
* Maintain consistent routines to help children feel safe and regulated.
* Keep clear logs throughout the night and hand over to the day team.
* Drive if required for emergencies or safeguarding needs (full UK licence desired due to rural location).
-----------------------------------
