Key Responsibilities
* In the Moment Planning (ITMP): Deliver high-quality learning experiences based on children’s individual interests and natural curiosity.
* Child-Initiated Learning: Support a balance of adult-led and child-led activities to encourage independence and confidence.
* Assessment & Tracking: Work closely with parents to identify starting points, monitor progress, and lead small group focus sessions to identify next steps.
* Inclusion: Maintain an engaging and inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of all children.
* Parent Partnerships: Ensure clear, professional, and consistent communication with parents and carers.
* Growth: Engage in continuous professional development and training to stay at the forefront of Early Years education.
Requirements (Essential)
* Qualifications: Must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a childcare setting is preferred.
* Skills: Strong understanding of early years education, excellent teamwork, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with families.
* Location: Must be able to commute to Godalming (GU7 3TB).
Advantageous
* Leadership or management experience is desirable but not essential.
