Housing Management Coordinator Luton, Applegrove Permanent, part time (18.75 hpw) Pay £25,838 per annum [pro rata] and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong This is a great opportunity for a Housing Management Coordinator to join our team here in Luton. As our Housing and Property expert, youll focus on tenancy support for our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, youll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts. Typical day as a Housing Management Coordinator Older people service ( Over 55`s) Making sure that our customers properties are homes they can be proud of, youll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies. Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account. Where there is a need, youll also issue and sign warning letters and notices which may lead to attending court. Getting rooms ready for the next customers who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, youll turn around vacant or voidproperties within set timescales. Ensuring we are health and safety compliant and that maintenance standards are met. Fancy going home each day knowing that you have helped change our customers lives for the better? You bring Experience in managing a housing management caseload and overseeing landlord and housing management duties Know-how of re-letting of rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed. Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to your colleagues The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. A can do positive attitude, youre proactive and well organised, and able to work on your initiative. This remains under regular review Our team Youll join Juliet and theteam of eleven who manage the Older People`s Independent Living services in our patch. Based at our service in Luton and occasionally travelling around the properties in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire area. Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy signs ups, To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.
