Role Overview
Provide efficient and reliable chair-side support to Practice Clinicians. Daily duties include:
* Reception duties: answering phones, greeting patients, dealing with queries, booking appointments and follow-ups, and processing payments.
* Preparing and sterilising equipment for dentists.
* Managing patient records and supporting patient wellbeing.
* Cleaning dental areas, managing stock of supplies, and other duties to support the dental team.
Qualifications
This role requires a Level 3 advanced apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds, delivered nationwide via blended e-learning. Upon completion, candidates will receive a Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 3, approved by the General Dental Council for entry to the professional register. Functional Skills in English and Maths Level 2 are also required unless exempted.
