Are you an experienced welder with experience in manufacturing or engineering? Are you seeking a new role that matches your career development and aspirations? Well, read on!! My client has secured several major aerospace projects and have an orderbook bursting at the seams!! They are urgently looking to recruit welders within their engineering department. (This is days roles are 07:30 16:00, Monday to Friday).
Role Profile
As an experienced welder, this is a hands-on position responsible for the welding of aviation components. Working to tight tolerances, this position will primarily work on productionised components but should also have the flexibility to work on new product introduction.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
As an experienced welder, you will have:
Experience in fitting small diameter tubes for Orbital welding to precise tolerances.
Trade qualified with a recognised apprenticeship (City and Guilds etc.)
Undertake TIG welding (manual, automatic and Orbital) to aircraft standards to fall in line with welding controls and processes.
Read and interpret Engineering drawings.
