My client is an international manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic reputation in a multitude of different industries including O&G, Marine and Renewables. They are looking to add a NDT Technician to their team. This role will be based from their site in West Lothian, and will be a Monday - Friday dayshift position. Monday - Thursday (06:30-13:00); Friday (06:30-12:00). Responsibilities: Maintaining a safe working area and performing tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures Preparation of scan plans Preparation of NDT records all products in accordance with project quality control plans and specifications Accurate reporting of defect size and location including sketches Verification of NDT equipment prior to use Carrying out NDT activities as required Liaising with clients and 3rd party inspectors on a regular basis Maintenance of traceability logs in the fabrication and welding department Qualifications & Experience Required: Qualified PCN Level 2 (or ISO 9712) in MUT (3.1, 3.2), MPI and LPI Practical experience in a fast-paced engineering/fabrication environment with working knowledge of health, safety, environmental and quality procedures is essential Experience working with relevant industry codes and standards such as ASME, Section V and VIII; API 1104 and Spec 16A or BS EN ISO 17640
