Our Cambridge branch is rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and now we are expanding — bringing our high standards and compassionate care to Chelmsford. Your Key Responsibilities
As Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of our new service, ensuring safe, effective, and person-centred care while meeting all CQC standards.
1. Service Launch & Leadership
2. Lead the setup and CQC registration of the new domiciliary care branch in Chelmsford.
3. Build and mentor a leadership team including the Deputy Manager, Training Manager, and Office Manager.
4. Establish a positive, client-focused culture and set high performance standards.
5. CQC Compliance
6. Ensure full compliance with all CQC regulations across safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness, and leadership.
7. Keep policies up to date and prepare for inspections with confidence.
8. Maintain accurate, detailed records and embed a culture of accountability.
9. Quality Assurance
10. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track care quality.
11. Lead audits, service reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
12. Oversee complaints handling and use feedback to drive excellence.
13. Operational Oversight
14. Oversee daily service delivery, ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of clients and staff.
15. Manage safeguarding processes and ensure personalised care plans are regularly updated.
16. Identify and manage risks proactively.
17. Team Management & Development
18. Recruit a skilled, compassionate team for the new service.
19. Support training and development, working closely with the Training Manager.
20. Implement staff wellbeing and retention strategies to build a strong, motivated workforce.
21. Client Relationships
22. Build strong relationships with clients and families, listening to their feedback to shape services.
23. Ensure consistently high standards of care to boost satisfaction and trust.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for a passionate, experienced care leader with a proven track record of success in domiciliary care management.
Essential requirements:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or similar leadership role within domiciliary care.
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong financial and resource management abilities.
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.
