We are offering a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced social care manager to join us as Branch Leader, covering our North Aberdeenshire services on a full-time, permanent basis based in our Peterhead hub.
Although based in Peterhead, travel across North Aberdeenshire to our services will be part of your role. A full driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential, with travel expenses reimbursed as per Cornerstone's expense policy, in accordance with HMRC legislation.
The Role
Working closely with your team of Service Leads, Lead Practitioners, frontline colleagues, and supported by the Senior Leadership Team and Business Support Leads, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and implementation of Cornerstone’s strategic plan.
The main purpose of your role is to provide effective leadership to your branch, ensuring it meets organisational Key Performance and Quality Indicators. You will be passionate about delivering excellent care, positioning us as the expert provider for the people we support. Additionally, you will focus on maximising local business development opportunities and fostering collaborative partnerships with HSCPs, housing associations, and other MDTs. You will also be the first point of contact for referrals and oversee tenancy-related matters where appropriate.

What we'll need you to bring
* Experience of working in health & social care.
* Experience of managing a local health & social care business, branch, or division.
* An understanding of empowerment and coaching versus management and supervision.
* Experience in developing an empowered workforce.
* Strong business skills such as planning, tender writing, analysis, reporting, networking, and income generation.
* Experience in attracting new customers, securing contracts, and successful bid-writing and presentations.
* Knowledge of the political and strategic environment related to social care.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrable experience in financial management.
* Understanding of relevant statutory regulations and best practices.
* A full driving license and access to a vehicle, as some services are remote.
Additional desirable qualities
It would be great if you also have:
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex care needs.
