Overview
Join us at Barclays as an M365 Support Engineer, where you\'ll lead third-line support and incident resolution across M365, Email, and Azure services—ensuring rapid response to major issues, seamless product transitions, and resilient service delivery. You\'ll drive continual improvement, champion knowledge sharing, and provide out-of-hours support to enhance performance and user experience.
Responsibilities
* Provision of technical support for the service management function to resolve more complex issues for a specific client or group of clients. Develop the support model and service offering to improve the service to customers and stakeholders.
* Execute preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software and use monitoring tools/metrics to identify, prevent and address potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain a knowledge base containing detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference, self-service opportunities and knowledge sharing.
* Analyze system logs, error messages and user reports to identify root causes of hardware, software and network issues, and provide a resolution by fixing or replacing faulty hardware components, reinstalling software, or applying configuration changes.
* Automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency, business continuity management, front office specific support and stakeholder management.
* Identify and remediate or raise, through appropriate process, potential service impacting risks and issues.
* Proactively assess support activities implementing automations where appropriate to maintain stability and drive efficiency. Actively tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure issues are known when they occur.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience with managing and supporting Azure and M365 Tenant environments.
* Experience administering Exchange and Proofpoint email security solutions.
* Scripting and task automation using PowerShell.
Valued Skills & Attributes
* Proficiency with Microsoft Graph API for advanced integration and automation.
* Experience using monitoring and backup tools such as Splunk, ESAAS, and Rubrik.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
