What you'll be doing:
* Execute multiple areas of test work during audit activities to provide accurate and timely assessments.
* Utilise your expertise in auditing Global Markets or closely related areas to identify control deficiencies and make recommendations.
* Conduct process walkthroughs and testing to ensure controls are designed and functioning effectively.
* Demonstrate excellent project management skills and influence business partners to further improve controls and business processes.
* Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
What you bring to the table:
* Strong background in Internal Audit, particularly in Global Markets or related areas such as market risk management, product control, or GM specific compliance.
* Experience in auditing trading desks, supervision, and risk management.
* Ability to thrive under pressure and effectively engage with senior management on complex issues.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify trends and their impact on the business.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
* Solid project and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* Degree and post-graduate qualification in a related field.
