Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant – SEN & ALN Support
Salary: £14.00-£16.00/hour
Qualification: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (or equivalent)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Additional Learning Needs (ALN)? M&M Supply are seeking experienced and compassionate Nursery Teaching Assistants to support a variety of Nurseries in Cardiff, supporting young children with SEN and ALN.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide tailored support to children with a range of SEN and ALN, including those with autism, learning difficulties, and speech or language delays.
* Assist the class teacher in implementing individual learning plans and adapting activities to meet the needs of each child.
* Help children with daily routines and self-care, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident in their learning environment.
* Support emotional and behavioural development by creating a positive, structured, and inclusive atmosphere.
* Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure children's progress and well-being are supported.
* Promote a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working with children with SEN and ALN, ideally within a nursery or early years setting.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* An understanding of child development and how to implement strategies that support both academic and emotional growth.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
