Supply Cover Supervisor - Retford

This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, or experienced cover staff who want regular school-based experience without the responsibility of lesson planning or marking.
Position: Supply Cover Supervisor
Location: Retford, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £100 - £130 per day (dependent on experience, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you
Responsibilities
* Supervise whole classes using pre-prepared lesson materials
* Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged throughout the lesson
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide support and guidance to pupils where appropriate
* Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders
* Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
* A degree or equivalent qualification (essential)
* Confident classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Flexible, reliable and professional approach
* Ability to build positive relationships with secondary-aged pupils
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
