The opportunity
This role serves as a central liaison between the organisation and its portfolio of partner firms, fostering strong, trust-based relationships and supporting partners in achieving their business objectives.
By collaborating closely with field-based Partnership Development Managers and internal specialist teams, you will drive partner engagement, facilitate commercial growth, and ensure partners fully leverage the organisation’s offerings. This role is pivotal in delivering a seamless partner experience, proactively identifying opportunities and challenges, and contributing to the ongoing success and sustainability of both the partners and the organisation.
This is a permanent, hybrid role, based in our Swindon office, with the requirement to be in the office 3 days a week.

Key Accountabilities:
9. Establish and nurture strong, professional relationships with a designated portfolio of partner firms through consistent telephone and digital engagement, adhering to Openwork Relationship Management standards
10. Represent Openwork as a trusted advisor, providing partners with day-to-day support in business development and engagement activities
11. Contribute to the achievement of growth objectives by actively promoting Openwork’s propositions, services, processes, and digital platforms
12. Collaborate with partners to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities, escalating complex needs to appropriate channels when necessary
13. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all partner interactions, actions, and outcomes using CRM and contact management systems
14. Proactively identify early warning signs, risks, or support requirements within partner firms and escalate these for timely intervention and additional support
15. Work closely with internal teams—including field-based Partnership Development Managers, proposition, compliance, and operations, to deliver a seamless and beneficial partner experience.
16. Provide market and partner insights to support the achievement of account objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives
What will you need to succeed?
17. Understanding of business-to-business (B2B) relationship management, particularly in remote or telephone-based environment's
18. Awareness of the financial services or intermediary marketplace; familiarity with mortgages, protection, or wealth management is advantageous but not essential
19. Knowledge of regulatory and legislative frameworks relevant to the industry, or a willingness to develop expertise in this area (e.g., Data Protection, Financial Crime, Code of Conduct, Health and Safety, and Financial Conduct Authority standards)
20. Understanding of organisational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
21. An interest in, or understanding of, the financial services or intermediary marketplace with mortgage, protection and wealth experience being desirable, but not essential
22. Commercial awareness and the ability to understand business needs and priorities
23. Awareness of regulatory and legislative frameworks, or a willingness to develop knowledge in this area
24. Experience using CRM systems or contact management tools
25. Experience in a similar telephone-based role such as account management, telesales, sales support, customer service or relationship management.
