About The Role
As a Training and Assessment Facilitator you will facilitate an effective support service and assist in development and maintenance of effective and efficient training programmes. You will facilitate training and assessment of National/Vocational Qualifications. You will prepare candidates for holistic assessment in the workplace and support of candidates undertaking underpinning knowledge.
Main Responsibilities
* Supporting and facilitating training and assessment of candidates registered for relevant qualifications and supporting, where appropriate, supervisors in the workplace e.g. by identifying work placement training needs for staff involved in training learners
* Facilitating the delivery of learning programmes and activities in employer premises, college and other locations. Organising and participating in Learner Inductions
* Planning, organising and monitoring integrated training programmes for learners, including both on and off the job activities, monitoring of learners progress and providing relevant data.
* Assessing, reviewing and monitoring key/functional skills, ensuring, where appropriate, that they are integrated into the learning programme.
* Support candidate literacy and numeracy needs through use of initial assessment results and referral where appropriate and in line with the college procedures
* Assisting in the development and administration of learning resources
* Active involvement in the recruitment of learners and finding/securing work placement opportunities as required, ensuring that health and safety vetting process is adhered to
* Maintaining accurate records of relevant qualification documentation in respect of Candidate Assessment along with other college documentation to college quality standards
* Liaising with employers and other external agencies to maintain constructive relationships
* Initiating individual learning plans in line with organisation needs analysis and/or training needs analysis. Monitor, review and update ILP to meet learner and employer objectives.
* Maintaining ongoing administration for the curriculum area, business gateway, appropriate awarding bodies and any external agencies
* Undertaking a range of internal verification duties as deemed appropriate

What We Can Offer You
As the successful candidate, you will be offered a salary of between £31,885- £35,849per annum based upon a combination of the skills, knowledge and experience that you can bring to the role.
